Eye Management’s (EMI) operations began in 1989 as a specialty ophthalmology network, delivering medical and vision eye care services for patients in Florida; more recently, in 2014 EMI expanded outside of the United States and serves patients on the island of Puerto Rico.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Health Network One (HN1), a specialty provider network company that manages the specialties of gastroenterology, urology, podiatry, and dermatology, combined, EMI and HN1 cover over 1.4 million lives.
Our clients are usually health plans (i.e., HMOs, PPOs, IPAs/MSOs, etc.) and the company has two products we offer: Capitated Single Specialty Network Services and Provider Network Access and Development Services.
Our Network’s back-office operations are managed by our affiliate, HS1 Medical Management, Inc. (HS1), a third party administrator (TPA) that is certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for Credentialing and Utilization Management.
