Luis Mosquera

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Mosquera has over 25 years of experience in the health care field in a variety of disciplines and capacities that have provided him with a unique perspective of the business. Mr. Mosquera has also owned and operated multi-specialty centers and a financial consulting group. Mr. Mosquera has many ties to the national health care community.


Martin (Marty) Bilowich

President

Mr. Bilowich has over 20 years of health care management experience and was one of the co-founders of Health Network One (HN1) and has served as the Company’s President and Chief Operating since it began operations in 2001. He has also spear-headed the growth and evolution of HN1 from being a start-up operation to now managing over 1.3 million covered lives through Network Management Agreements with various regional and national health plans.


Alan Silbert, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Alan Silbert, a New York native born in 1945, moved to Florida in 1979 and has been in the private practice of Ophthalmology in Miami Shores and North Miami Beach since that time. He practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a fellowship trained subspecialty in corneal and external diseases.

A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and after interning at Beth Israel Hospital, Dr. Silbert spent five years in the United Stated Public Health Service as a general medical officer and later as an Ophthalmology resident in Staten Island, New York. Following his residency, he spent a year at the Tufts/New England Medical Center in a corneal fellowship with Dr. Jules Baum. Following a second fellowship in phacoemulcification cataract surgery with famed eye surgeon Dr. Robert Sinskey, Dr. Silbert settled into private practice in Miami. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons. He is board certified in Ophthalmology.


Karen Chewning

Vice President

Karen Chewning has over 18 years of health care management experience, joining Health Network One (HN1) in 2001 as the Network Director of Eye Management, Inc., (EMI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HN1. Karen’s career began at EMI in 1989 where she began as a Member Service Representative, growing with the organization in position and responsibility until its acquisition in 2001 by HN1.
